Job Description
Role Overview:
Responsible for coordinating with government authorities, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and facilitating the timely acquisition of approvals, permits, and clearances for real estate projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Liaisoning with Authorities:
Establish and maintain relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and local authorities such as municipal corporations, town planning departments, and utility providers.
Secure approvals for land use, building plans, environmental clearances, and other statutory requirements.
2) Documentation and Compliance:
Prepare, submit, and follow up on applications for permissions, licenses, and renewals.
Maintain accurate records of correspondence, approvals, and project-related compliance documentation.
Ensure adherence to local, state, and national real estate regulations and zoning laws.
3) Stakeholder Coordination:
Act as a bridge between the company and external stakeholders to resolve any issues related to land or project development.
Address grievances or queries from government bodies and coordinate inspections or audits.
4) Land Acquisition and Registration:
Assist in the due diligence, registration, and legal clearance of land parcels.
Coordinate with legal teams to verify ownership titles, deeds, and agreements.
5) Monitoring Updates and Legal Changes:
Stay updated on changes in real estate laws, rules, and regulations to ensure the company’s operations remain compliant.
Advise management on potential legal or regulatory risks related to projects.
6) Conflict Resolution:
Address and resolve disputes related to permissions, zoning, or any other governmental concerns.
Skills and Qualifications:
1) Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
Additional certifications in real estate or regulatory compliance are advantageous.
2) Skills Required:
Excellent knowledge of real estate laws, land acquisition processes, and government approval mechanisms.
Strong networking and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with officials and stakeholders.
Attention to detail in handling documents and understanding regulatory nuances.
Problem-solving and negotiation abilities for resolving conflicts or delays.
3) Experience:
Prior experience in real estate projects, liaisoning roles, or similar profiles in infrastructure, construction, or legal domains.
