Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Establish, implement & maintain effective QMS standards in the organization and working closely with the Regional Management Representative (Lead)/ Asst. Operations Manager. Ensure companies full compliance to QHSE Policies and Procedures at all times.

Quality Coordinator will be reporting to the Regional Management Representative (Lead) / Asst. Operations Manager and will be accountable and authorized for the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Preparing, updating QMS documents (Manual, Procedure, WI & Forms) and Records for all the processes are effectively, developed, established, implemented and adhered to in accordance to the applicable standards at OSSI workshop.
  • Communicating the QMS requirements and updates to the affected functions.
  • Training and communicating the QMS requirements and updates to the affected functions.
  • Perform internal audits as per the yearly plan done by Regional Management Representative (Lead).
  • Conducting and coordination of Management Review Meeting for OSSI workshops.
  • Ensuring initiation of action(s) to minimize the likelihood of the occurrence of nonconformities
  • Ensuring the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
  • To execute recovery plans to bring its quality performance back to track if necessary.
  • Coordination of API and customer audits for company workshops and ensuring effective actions on the findings raised during the audits as and when instructed by Regional Management Representative (Lead) / Asst. Operations Manager.
  • Identifying and providing required resources including equipment, information/standards etc.
  • Evaluating and auditing new vendors/ subcontractors and periodic review of approved supplier/ subcontractors for the company as and when instructed by Regional Management Representative (Lead).
  • Verifying and ensuring correct documents/ reports are received along with the materials purchased.
  • Responding with Corrective Actions on the product defects/ complaints raised internally or by the customers/ API and ensure effective closure of the NCRs as and when instructed by Regional Management Representative (Lead) / Asst. Operations Manager.
  • Cultivating Quality, Safety, and Environment culture and company family culture in company workshops.
  • Follow safe work practices and procedures.
  • Communicating the status of the KPIs applicable for companys workshops to the Regional Management Representative (Lead) / Asst. Operations Manager.
  • Reporting to the Regional Management Representative (Lead) / Asst. Operations Manager and management on the performance of the QMS for companys workshops and any need for improvement through the monthly reporting.
  • Monitoring NDE and other special process validation as and when necessary and directed by Asst. Operations Manager and Regional Management Representative (Lead).
  • Perform any other assignments or duties as instructed by the Asst. Operations Manager and Regional Management Representative (Lead).

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Ensure the Quality requirements are effectively implemented within the work premises.
  • Ensure and Coordinate with all the company’s person for the effective implementation of the quality system and readily available for any external// internal audits.
  • Monitor & report the department status to the Regional Management representative (Lead) on periodic basis.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Bachelor in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Quality) or equivalent with minimum 1 year experience in API QMS field.
  • Strong knowledge in ISO / API and QMS standards and product specifications.
  • Team player.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Well versed in documentation tools like MS word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.
