Design Engineer(Palghar)

Job Description

A Design Engineer is responsible for creating, developing, and improving product designs using engineering principles and design software. The role involves preparing technical drawings, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring designs meet quality, safety, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Use CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA to create 2D and 3D models.
• Review and modify designs based on project requirements and feedback.
• Work closely with manufacturing, production, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Conduct design calculations, simulations, and analysis.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Support prototype development, testing, and product improvement.
• Coordinate with clients or internal teams to understand project requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Industrial Design or related field.
• 1-5 years of experience in design engineering (depending on role level).
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
• Good knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
